WHAT WE DO
At NEST Healthworks, we believe every newborn deserves a safe and supported start in life. Every family should have the tools they need to thrive. We focus on bridging the gap between hospital discharge and home by providing expert neonatal transition support, parent coaching, and healthcare consulting.

Neonatal Transition Support
We provide personalized support for NICU families as they leave the hospital, focusing on feeding education, safe sleep practices, medical discharge needs, care coordination, and emotional support. Our goal is to ease the transition from hospital to home and help families feel confident every step of the way.

Advanced Practice Provider Staffing
We connect hospitals and clinics with highly qualified neonatal and pediatric advanced practice providers. Our team helps fill staffing gaps while maintaining continuity and clinical excellence, especially in regions where access to specialized staff is limited.

Family Education and Advocacy
We offer culturally sensitive education and coaching that empowers families to manage their newborn’s needs after discharge. Our programs cover feeding and development, medical follow-up, emotional resilience, and caregiver support, helping families build long-term success and stronger outcomes.

Rural and Mobile Care Access
We deliver care directly to families in remote or underserved areas through mobile consults, telehealth, and on-site visits. Our goal is to make quality neonatal and postnatal services available to every family no matter their zip code or proximity to a major hospital.

Staffing Model Consultation
Many hospitals struggle with building sustainable neonatal staffing models. We provide consultation and customized strategies to support safe, effective deployment of advanced practice providers while aligning with operational goals, quality standards, and patient outcomes.

Case Study: Supporting Baby Eli’s Transition Home
When Baby Eli was born at 29 weeks, his family was overwhelmed. After spending six weeks in the NICU, his parents were thrilled to bring him home but also terrified about the future of Eli. He had feeding issues, oxygen support, and multiple follow-up appointments. Their rural hospital had limited neonatal resources, and the nearest specialty clinic was over 90 miles away.
That’s where NEST Healthworks stepped in.
We worked directly with Eli’s hospital care team to create a customized discharge plan. A NEST advanced practice provider visited the family in their home, helped monitor his oxygen levels, and coached his parents through bottle feeding techniques tailored to his needs. We also coordinated with their pediatrician to ensure consistent care.
After eight weeks of support, Eli was thriving. He was off oxygen, gaining weight, and meeting developmental milestones. His parents said what made the biggest difference was knowing they weren’t alone.
